About Us

Who are we

We are a European non-profit association (ASBL) dedicated to promoting safety, security and the protection of fundamental rights across Europe. Our organization aims to support cooperation, coordination and knowledge sharing between law enforcement institutions, public authorities, experts and partner organizations across the continent, while working in strict compliance with European Union law and the national legislation of the Member States.

Role and mandate

Our role is exclusively strategic and supportive. We have no investigative, executive or coercive powers and do not replace or act on behalf of national police or judicial authorities. We act as an independent platform that facilitates cooperation, research, training and policy development in the areas of security and crime prevention. Through this approach, we contribute to strengthening institutional capacity, fostering better cross-border understanding and developing more effective responses to shared security challenges.

Human rights and law

We focus on a wide range of security-related areas, including but not limited to organized and transnational crime, cybercrime and digital threats, terrorism and violent extremism, border management, public safety, crisis response, and critical infrastructure protection. By analyzing trends, supporting best practices, and encouraging coordinated strategies, we aim to help stakeholders anticipate risks and proactively respond to evolving threats.

Innovation and vision

Innovation and adaptability drive our future-oriented approach. We actively monitor emerging risks, technological developments and societal changes to ensure that our activities remain relevant and effective. At the same time, we remain firmly rooted in our core values, balancing progress with responsibility and predictability with prudence.

Our long-term goal is to contribute to a Europe where citizens feel safe, informed and protected, and where institutions work together in a spirit of trust and solidarity. By strengthening cooperation, promoting ethical standards and supporting evidence-based approaches to security, we aim to play a significant role in preserving justice, stability and freedom, both today and for future generations.

European cooperation, training and development

At the heart of our mission lies cooperation. Modern security challenges do not stop at national borders, and effective responses require a collective effort. By bringing together institutions, professionals, researchers and civil society actors, we foster dialogue, mutual understanding and lasting partnerships. Through knowledge sharing, joint initiatives and coordinated action, we contribute to a more coherent and united European security environment.

We also place particular emphasis on education, training and professional development. By supporting learning initiatives, workshops and exchanges of experts, we aim to strengthen skills, raise awareness and foster innovation in the security sector. Continuous learning is essential in a rapidly changing world, especially as technology, globalisation and new forms of crime transform the security landscape.
